Thanksgiving Music

Hello Everyone!!! It's been some time since this blog has been used. I hope to post on a regular basis with links to music and practice information.

We will begin practicing on Sunday, October 25 at 4:30pm in the Primary Room. We are going to start on a song for Thanksgiving and a little bit of Christmas music! I love this time of year and am very excited about the music we will be singing.

We will be singing "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing" for Thanksgiving. I know it isn't a traditional Thanksgiving song, but I love the message. The most important thing in our lives is the atonement. We have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus, and, as we obey the commandments and choose the right, we will one day return to Heavenly Father to live with Him for all eternity. We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season!

I missed you all

Just a reminder we will have choir practice this Sunday at 4:30 in the Primary Room. No one came last week, which is a shame, because I made THE BEST COOKIES EVER and all of you missed them.

I know schedules are busy and I certainly don't expect everyone to be there every week- in fact I'd like to eventually be able to hold rehearsals just a few times a month- but the truth is we are going through a rough time getting this choir going, and I really appreciate you coming when you can. Maybe a different time would work better, or a different place. I'm open to ideas. So let me know if you have any.
